Action for Family Carers is an Essex-based charity supporting unpaid carers and young carers, and is a Carers Trust Network Partner holding the NCVO Trusted Charity Mark at Level 2. Adult services include carer support groups, counselling, a GP Liaison Service, Working Carers support, Chelmsford Male Carers and Time 4 You grants. For under-18s it runs Young Carer Clubs, in-school support and trips, plus Day Care and Keeping Active/Active Minds groups for people with mild-to-moderate dementia.
