Action Foundation
Social Connection & Community · Charity · Newcastle - City Centre
Newcastle charity offering ESOL classes, supported housing and casework for destitute refugees and asylum seekers.
Action Foundation supports refugees, asylum seekers and other migrants across the North East from their Newcastle city centre base. Their InterAction drop-in every Thursday offers casework on housing, legal referrals, GP registration and resettlement. Action Housing provides supported accommodation for destitute asylum seekers with no recourse to public funds, while Action Letting houses newly granted single refugees. Free ESOL classes run online and in classrooms, and a dedicated Young Lives team works with refugee children and families.
