Action Together is the council for voluntary services for Oldham, supporting hundreds of charities, faith groups and community projects. It hosts the boroughs free Social Prescribing service, linking residents to community activities for loneliness, low mood, money worries and life changes. The Community Activities Directory lists nearly 1,000 weekly groups, walks, lunch clubs and skills sessions. Staff also offer help to volunteer, set up a new group or find funding.
