Suffolk's Active Partnership working with NHS, councils and community groups to increase physical activity and tackle health inequalities.
Active Suffolk is one of 43 Active Partnerships in England and uses a place based model split across four areas: Babergh and Mid-Suffolk, East Suffolk, West Suffolk and Ipswich. Programmes include the Active Wellbeing Service, Fit Villages, strength and balance classes for older adults and the Suffolk PE and Sport Network for schools. Eligibility: Any Suffolk resident wanting to be more active; projects target inactive groups and those with health inequalities.

Not suitable for: Active Suffolk does not run face-to-face exercise classes itself - it commissions and signposts to delivery partners. Individual partner sessions may have age or health requirements.
