Age UK is the national charity for older people in the UK. The Advice Line 0800 678 1602 is free and open every day 8am to 7pm, 365 days a year. Trained advisers cover benefits, care, housing, scams, bereavement and health. Information guides explain Pension Credit, dementia, energy bills and end of life planning. A UK-wide network of local Age UKs runs befriending, day centres and home help. Open to anyone in later life, plus family and carers.
