Age UK Blackburn with Darwen runs community-based services and activities for people aged 50 and over and their carers, including those living with dementia. They provide free advice drop-ins at Blackburn Library and Darwen Town Hall, a community day service, Memory Makers cognitive stimulation groups, Active Ageing exercise sessions, digital skills tuition and a dementia navigation service. Staff also carry out home visits to help older people access benefits and care.
