Charity supporting older people across Cornwall with befriending, transport, day centres and home help.
Age UK Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly is the main charity for older residents across the county, based at Boscawen House, Chapel Hill, Truro TR1 3BN. The Community Gateway helpline (01872 266383) runs 8am to 8pm, seven days a week. Services include Community Transport for hospital and social trips covering Cornwall, South Devon and the Isles of Scilly, Active Living Support for gardening and companionship at home, community hubs at Falmouth and Govenek, and venues for hire including the Lowenna Room and Cafe Hope in Newquay.
