Independent charity offering information, advice, befriending, day centres and exercise classes for older people across Derby and Derbyshire.
Age UK Derby and Derbyshire is the local independent charity supporting older people across the city and county. They run a free phone information and advice line covering benefits, social care and money, complete Attendance Allowance forms with a 97 percent success rate and host Live Stronger for Longer balance and strength classes. Day centres at Caroline Court and Hulland Ward offer transport, meals and activities, and befriending teams visit isolated older people in Derbyshire Dales, High Peak and Erewash.
