Age UK Hertfordshires free Befriending Service matches volunteers with isolated older people for weekly in-home or telephone friendship, sharing news, views and interests. Dedicated area leads cover West Herts: Watford and Three Rivers (07976 207619), Welwyn Hatfield (07527 660988), St Albans, Harpenden and Hertsmere (07772 173822) and Dacorum/Hemel (07496 744403). North Hertfordshire and Stevenage cannot accept new referrals due to high demand.
