Age UK Manchester is the citys leading older peoples charity. Its Advice Line offers free information on welfare benefits, housing, blue badges, social care and bereavement, with home visits for those most in need. CQC-registered home care teams in north and south Manchester provide personal care, dementia and end-of-life support. Befriending, exercise sessions and community groups tackle loneliness, while a dedicated digital inclusion programme helps older adults get online. People can self-refer or be referred by family, friends or professionals.
