Independent charity supporting older people in Oldham with information, day care, friendship clubs, handyman help and falls prevention.
Age UK Oldham offers a comprehensive range of services for people over 50 living in the borough. These include HandyVan home repairs, two day care services at Ashby House in Royton and Bluebells in Moorside, Older Together friendship clubs, a craft club at Chadderton Over 60s Centre, the OLGBT Out and About group for older LGBT residents, the Life Story personalised memory book service and a Falls Prevention Exercise Scheme. The charity also provides information and advice on benefits and care.
