Charity supporting older people in Salford with information, day care, befriending and Age Well in the Community connector hubs.
Age UK Salford and Trafford supports people aged 50 and over across both boroughs. The Salford office runs information and signposting on benefits, care, housing and bereavement; the Humphrey Booth Day Centre offers day care for older adults including those with dementia; and the Age Well in the Community programme reduces isolation by linking people to Coffee and Company hubs and local activities. Staff take social-prescribing referrals from PCN link workers and Salford Royal as well as self-referrals.
