Information, advice and wellbeing service for older people across Trafford, run from the Sharples Building in Urmston.
Age UK Salford and Trafford supports older Trafford residents from its main Sharples Building base in Urmston. The Information and Advice service helps with benefits checks, attendance allowance, blue badges, housing, care and bereavement. Telephone advice is available Monday-Wednesday mornings with booked afternoon appointments. The service also runs befriending, exercise and activity groups, hospital aftercare and a small handyperson service. Referrals come from GPs, social prescribers, hospital discharge teams and self-referral.
