Independent local charity supporting people aged 50+ across Sheffield with advice, befriending and home support.
Age UK Sheffield works with vulnerable or isolated people aged 50 and over to help them live well at home. Free information and advice covers benefits, housing and social care. The Independent Living Co-ordination service offers a three-month support package, the At Home team helps with shopping, cleaning and bills, and Steel City Friends provides befriending. They also run dementia services, a Young Onset Dementia Hub, digital drop-ins and community activities.
