Age UK Sunderland has supported older people across the city for over 70 years and helps more than 2,000 people each week. From the Bradbury Centre it offers information and advice, day clubs, arts and craft, exercise classes, the Redwood Day Service, hospital discharge home visits, the Essence dementia service, a Dial-a-Driver volunteer transport scheme, and Keeping in Touch befriending volunteers. Most services are open to people aged 50 or 60+ living in Sunderland.
