Age UK Tameside is an independent charity working with people over 50 in Tameside. Services from its base at 131 Katherine Street include Next Steps employability for over-50s job seekers, Step Up falls prevention with eight-week classes, accessible Studio 131 fitness and dance sessions, Monday Munchers brunch club, a dementia service, the Mental Health STAR partnership for older peoples mental health, free legal clinics with local solicitors and Cafe 131 meals.
