Independent local charity supporting people aged 50+ across Allerdale and Copeland with day care, advice, befriending and activities.
Age UK West Cumbria supports older people across Workington, Whitehaven, Cockermouth, Maryport and the wider Allerdale and Copeland areas. Based at the Bradbury Independent Living Centre in Workington, services include day care, peer support groups, welfare benefits and housing advice, a handyperson scheme, befriending, lunch clubs, gentle exercise, art classes and the Trusted Assessor home assessment service. Outreach activities run from community venues across west coast Cumbria.
