Age Well East's Befriending Service supports adults aged 18 and over across Essex who may be feeling lonely or isolated. The service provides regular telephone calls, home visits and community companions, helping people build meaningful connections and regain confidence. Trained volunteers provide friendly, consistent contact tailored to each person's needs. The service aims to reduce loneliness, improve wellbeing and help people feel more connected to their community. Referrals accepted from professionals or self-referral.
