akt supports LGBTQ+ young people aged 16-25 facing homelessness with caseworkers, emergency housing help and a live chat advice service.

akt has been providing routes to safe, affordable housing for LGBTQ+ young people aged 16-25 since 1989. Research shows 77 percent of young people supported by akt face homelessness after being forced out of family homes for coming out. Free services include 1-1 caseworker support, emergency accommodation help, employability support, mental health signposting and a Digital Advice Service offering live chat Mon-Fri 10am-4.30pm.
