Free singing groups for people with dementia and their carers in Billericay and Brentwood. Fun, social and dementia-friendly.
Singing for the Brain is run by the Alzheimer's Society and provides free, welcoming singing sessions for people with dementia and their carers. Groups take place in Billericay, Brentwood, and online. Sessions are led by skilled, compassionate group leaders and include vocal warm-ups and a wide variety of familiar and new songs. Singing has been shown to improve brain activity, wellbeing and mood. Groups are dementia-inclusive and no singing experience is needed. No charge for attendance.
