Womens centre supporting Birmingham women facing trauma, abuse, addiction or the criminal justice system.
Anawim is Birminghams centre for women. Based at 228 Mary Street in Balsall Heath, the charity supports women whose lives have been affected by trauma, domestic abuse, sex work, addiction, homelessness or the criminal justice system. Holistic, women-only services include one-to-one keywork, counselling, recovery groups, parenting work, court support, a pre-loved hub and drop-in. Women can call the freephone helpline on 0330 056 0065 or self-refer. Most staff are women with lived experience.
