Charity supporting people with dementia and their carers across North Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent through 1-2-1 sessions and group activities.
Approach works with over 1,000 people affected by dementia each year. Their My Day My Way service pairs a support worker with someone living with dementia for tailored 1-2-1 sessions of social activity, giving carers a break. They also run 12 different types of group across the area including independent activity groups, singing, reminiscence and games. The team are based at the Dementia Centre at Dougie Mac Hospice in Blurton.
