Arena Community is an Ilkeston-based charity set up in 2006 to respond to local issues of poverty, isolation, homelessness and unemployment in Erewash and parts of Nottinghamshire. The foodbank works from The Project on Bath Street, opening Tuesday and Thursday 10am to 2pm. Alongside food parcels they run advice, befriending and community group sessions, and accept referrals from welfare agencies, schools and faith groups.
