Harlesden-based specialist 'by and for' charity supporting Black and minoritised women experiencing abuse.
The Asian Womens Resource Centre has supported BME women and girls in Brent and across London since 1980. From its base at 108 Craven Park in Harlesden, the team offers free counselling, safety planning, welfare guidance, housing help, floating support and ESOL, computing, healthy eating, yoga and sewing classes. Open Monday to Friday 10am to 5pm. Staff speak Bengali, Dari, Farsi, Gujarati, Hindi, Hinko, Pashto, Persian, Punjabi, Urdu and Yoruba. Open-door policy welcomes all women. Call 020 8961 6549.

Who they help: BAME women facing domestic, honour-based or forced marriage abuse and immigration crises.
Eligibility: Black, Asian and minoritised women aged 16+ experiencing abuse or in need of advice.
