Barnsleys community and voluntary services charity, supporting local groups and volunteering.
Barnsley CVS supports the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector across Barnsley borough. Formed in 2022 from the merger of Voluntary Action Barnsley and Priory Campus, they provide training, partnership development, small grants, volunteer recruitment, representation and information sharing. They run Priory Campus in Lundwood, a community hub housing a family centre, GP surgery, library and cafe, and signpost residents to local activities and wellbeing support.
