Trussell network food bank providing emergency food parcels by voucher across Barrow, Ulverston and Millom.
Barrow Foodbank is part of the Trussell network and is based at Abbey Road Baptist Church in Barrow. It runs distribution centres in Barrow, Ulverston and Millom, giving three days of nutritionally balanced emergency food to people in crisis who have been referred by a partner agency such as Citizens Advice, social worker, GP or Jobcentre. The team also offers practical support and signposting to help people address the underlying causes of their crisis.
