Bedfordshire Active Partnership coordinating physical activity, Active Wellbeing programmes and GP exercise referral across the county.
BeActive, established in 2005, is the Active Partnership for Bedford, Central Bedfordshire and Luton, tackling inequalities in physical activity. The team runs Active Lives, School Games, PE and sport, Street Tag, GP exercise referral and active travel schemes. Healthcare professionals can use BeActive resources to support patients, and residents can find local sessions through the online Activity Finder. The charity also coordinates coach training and volunteering.
