Better Streets for Tower Hamlets is a resident-led campaign for lower-traffic streets that put walking, cycling and skateboarding first. Asks include School Streets, a low-traffic neighbourhood in every ward, more secure cycle parking, car-free zones to support local shops and air pollution that meets legal limits. The group works alongside Living Streets and Tower Hamlets Wheelers, runs a Twitter feed and news blog, and welcomes new members through its Get involved page.
