BHT Sussexs Eastbourne Advice Centre at Highlight House, Suite 14, St Leonards Road, BN21 3UH (phone 01323 642615) gives free specialist advice on housing, welfare benefits and homelessness across Eastbourne, Wealden and Lewes. Caseworkers cover possession action, suitability of accommodation, tenancy rights, disrepair and allocations policy. The In Court Duty Scheme offers emergency help at possession hearings at Lewes County Court, and a Macmillan Welfare Benefits Service supports people living with cancer and their carers.
