Volunteer network supporting refugees, asylum seekers and people with immigration issues in Bradford.
BIASAN (Bradford Immigration and Asylum Support and Advice Network) has supported refugees and asylum seekers in Bradford since 1999. Weekly Thursday drop-ins offer shared meals, English classes, creative activities, gym sessions, outings and childrens activities. They also provide guidance on legal cases, SIM cards, free haircuts, clothing, baby equipment and furniture to help people set up their first UK home. They received the Queens Award for Voluntary Service in 2021.
