Trussell food bank giving emergency food parcels to people in crisis across Blackburn with Darwen.
Blackburn Foodbank was founded in 2012 by local churches and community groups and is part of the Trussell network. They give three days of emergency food and signposting to people referred by a partner agency, having supported more than 118,000 residents with over 441,000 meals. Vouchers are issued by agencies such as Citizens Advice, social workers and schools.
