Independent foodbank supporting Blyth, Seaton Sluice, Seaton Delaval and surrounding south east Northumberland communities since 2015.
Blyth Foodbank has supported people in Blyth and the surrounding villages including Seaton Sluice and Seaton Delaval since 2015. As one of the most deprived towns in the North East, demand has nearly doubled. The team distributes emergency food parcels through a voucher referral system in partnership with local agencies, schools and the council. Blyth Spartans FC hosts bi-monthly collections to keep the foodbank stocked.
