The Boaz Project is run by Divine Assembly Ministries on the Greenstead estate in Colchester. Its aim is to reduce hunger, cut food waste and improve wellbeing. The project provides food parcels, clothes and hygiene items, and runs a community fridge where anyone can leave or take food. Additional activities include sessions on food budgeting and healthy cooking, fitness sessions and health talks. The project receives Colchester City Council cost-of-living funding.
