Braintree District Council's Housing service at Causeway House provides statutory housing advice and homelessness prevention for residents of Braintree, Halstead and Witham, Monday-Friday. The team manages the Housing Register and allocations, provides advice for those already homeless or at risk, runs emergency rough-sleeping arrangements, and offers Tenancy Advice, the Rent a Room scheme, domestic-abuse housing support and the Landlord Incentive and Tenancy Sustainment Scheme.
