Independent advocacy charity for adults with learning disabilities in Brighton & Hove.
Brighton and Hove Speak Out is an independent advocacy charity based at the Brighthelm Centre, North Road, Brighton BN1 1YD. It offers free one-to-one advocacy in person, by phone or video for people aged 17 and over with a learning disability who live in Brighton or Hove. The team also runs weekly drop-ins, several self-advocacy groups, the Learning Disability Voices Network and a new social prescribing service launched in 2026. Call 01273 421921 to make a referral.

Eligibility: Open to adults aged 17+ with learning disabilities living in Brighton or Hove.

Not suitable for: Not available to under-17s or to people without a learning disability.
