Brixham volunteer-led charity offering befriending, transport to hospital, day clubs and benefits help for older and isolated residents.
Brixham Does Care is a befriending charity founded in 1978 to tackle loneliness and isolation in Brixham and surrounding villages. It runs from the Old Market Hall, Town Hall, New Road, Brixham TQ5 8TA, with the main office open 9.30am to 4pm and an open-door service from 9.45am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday. The site also includes a charity shop and a community cafe open Monday to Wednesday 10am to 1pm. Call 01803 857727.
