Black-led CIC tackling health inequalities for Caribbean and African communities in Greater Manchester through advocacy, advice and community-based wellbeing support.
CAHN is a Black-led Community Interest Company set up to reduce health inequalities for people of Caribbean and African heritage in Greater Manchester. It runs culturally appropriate mental health and wellbeing services, advocacy on racial inequalities, peer support groups, vaccination outreach, and community connector roles within NHS settings. The team works alongside churches, mosques and grassroots groups to build resilience, deliver health education and ensure Black voices shape commissioning and policy. People can self-refer or be referred by GPs, social prescribers and community partners.
