CARA works with victims and survivors of sexual violence and child sexual abuse, providing independent, specialist support for adults, young people and children of all genders. Services include ISVA (Independent Sexual Violence Adviser) support, counselling for adults and for young people, support for children and families, pre-trial therapy, support for men and boys, and group support, plus a national Rape Crisis Helpline. CARA works from its Colchester head office and outreach premises in Braintree, Chelmsford, Clacton, Great Dunmow, Halstead and Harwich; people can self-refer online or call 01206 769795.
