Local Carers Trust partner offering information, advice, social activities and statutory carers assessments across Carlisle and Eden.
Carer Support Carlisle and Eden has supported unpaid carers for over 30 years across Carlisle and the Eden valley. The team offers free information, advice and a listening ear, plus Carers Hubs and Coffee Hubs in Penrith, High Hesket and Carlisle. They deliver statutory carer assessments under the Care Act on behalf of Cumberland Council, and run training, peer groups and short breaks. Specialist support is available for older carers and carers of people with dementia.
