Carers Northumberland
Carers & Family Support · Charity · Northumberland
County-wide charity supporting unpaid adult and young carers across Northumberland with advice, groups, training and short breaks.
Carers Northumberland is the lead charity for unpaid carers across the county. Set up in 2008, it offers one-to-one support, an information and advice service, regular carers groups, training and skills development, access to short breaks and a dedicated Young Carers service for under 18s. The team can help carers navigate benefits, social care and health pathways and reduce social isolation, particularly important for those caring in remote rural villages.
