Support for unpaid carers across Scarborough, Whitby, Ryedale, Hambleton and Richmondshire, including young carers from age 8.
Carers Plus Yorkshire was formed in 2021 from the merger of Scarborough and Ryedale Carers Resource and Hambleton and Richmondshire Carers Centre. They support unpaid adult carers, young adult carers (16-35) and young carers (8-18) with information, advice and emotional support. Wider community projects include Home from Hospital, employability support, veteran services and social groups. The main office is in Snainton with outreach across coastal and rural North Yorkshire.
