Countywide charity providing free information, emotional and practical support to unpaid carers in West Sussex.
Carers Support West Sussex has more than 32,000 registered carers across Adur, Arun, Chichester, Crawley, Horsham, Mid-Sussex and Worthing. The helpline 0300 028 8888 is open Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm, Wednesday until 7pm and Saturday 10am to noon. Support covers statutory carer assessments, carer coaching, local carer hubs, hospital admission help, emergency contact cards, contingency planning, grants and equipment. Benefits advice helped 840 carers secure over 1.4 million pounds of extra annual income.
