Carers Wakefield and District supports unpaid carers across the Wakefield district. They provide information, advice and emotional support for people looking after a family member or friend, including help with benefits, carers assessments, breaks from caring and peer support groups. The team works with adult, young and parent carers, and offers in-person drop-in at their King Street office in Wakefield as well as telephone and email contact.
