Catching Lives is an independent Canterbury charity supporting people who are homeless or insecurely housed in East Kent, recording 512 clients and 12,091 visits in 2025. The open centre provides breakfast and a two-course lunch, laundry with detergent provided, refurbished showers, secure storage, a clothes bank and computer and phone access. A medical room hosts Friday drop-ins with Kent Community Healthcare nurse Theresa, Forward Trust attends on Tuesdays for substance misuse support, and the team offers casework on housing, benefits, work and training.

Not suitable for: Not a service for children or for people who have stable secure housing.
