Drop-in day centre and food bank for isolated, vulnerably housed and homeless single adults in Leicester.
The Centre Project is a Leicester day centre offering a safe welcoming space for socially isolated single men and women and those at risk of homelessness. Services include befriending, information and signposting, cheap meals and hot drinks, computer and phone access, and games and social activities. It runs a weekly food bank in partnership with Leicester South Foodbank, with parcels adapted for halal, gluten free or vegetarian diets. Drop in sessions are held Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
