Changing Faces is the UK charity for everyone with a scar, mark or condition on their face or body, known as a visible difference. Its free Support and Information Line helps with the emotional impact on confidence and mood, and it offers wellbeing sessions, counselling, and practical advice on work, relationships and skin camouflage techniques. There is also an online community where people share experiences, plus workshops for children and families.

Who it's for
Who they help: People with a visible difference and their families
Eligibility: Anyone in the UK living with a visible difference, a scar, mark or condition on their face or body, and their families.
Not suitable for: The Support and Information Line is for people aged 16 and over. If the person with a visible difference is under 16, a parent or guardian should contact the service for them. This is not an emergency service; if you need urgent help, call NHS 111 or Samaritans free on 116 123.
