Chatty Cafe Scheme
Social Connection & Community · Community Group · National service
Reducing loneliness through 'Chatter and Natter' tables at cafes and venues where people can sit and chat with strangers.
The Chatty Cafe Scheme is a UK social enterprise that tackles loneliness by setting up Chatter and Natter tables in cafes, pubs and community venues. Anyone sitting at one of these tables is happy to chat, so customers can sit down and start a conversation. Over 900 Chatter and Natter venues now operate across the UK. There are no organised activities and no charge. Use the location finder at thechattycafescheme.co.uk to find your nearest table. Everyone is welcome.
