Community shed offering practical activities like woodwork, crafts and gardening for men in Chelmsford to combat isolation.
The Chelmsford Shed is a community space for men where they can get together and take part in practical activities such as woodworking, crafts and gardening. The Shed offers the use of tools that members may not have at home, the chance to share skills and the pleasure of making and building products together. It is a project of Chelmsford Council for Voluntary Service and a member of the UK Men's Shed Association. To join, men complete a membership application form; there is occasionally a waitlist.
