Citizens Advice Mid Mercia covers Derby city and South Derbyshire (plus East Staffordshire and Tamworth). Trained advisers help with debt and money, benefits, housing, family law, employment, immigration and energy bills. They also run a dedicated carers advice service in Derby and weekly outreach sessions at GP surgeries across South Derbyshire. Most appointments are by phone, with face-to-face slots in Derby and Swadlincote offices. Food bank vouchers can be issued for people in crisis.
