North Tyneside Citizens Advice has helped residents of the borough since 1998. They give free, impartial and confidential advice on welfare benefits, debt, consumer rights, employment, housing, family and immigration issues. Drop-in advice runs from their North Shields head office plus outreach in Wallsend Customer First Centre, the White Swan Centre in Killingworth and other community venues. Their advice line is free and a specialist debt hub plus Help to Claim service for Universal Credit applications are also available.
